Backgauge Flexible Extensions

Flexible backgauge extensions increase table depth, allowing support for larger or longer sheet-metal components. Available in lengths up to 4200mm, they can be mounted on the left, right or centre to suit specific production requirements.

XTAP – conical bending

The CIDAN FLEXIBLE backgauge can be equipped with angled positioning using the XTAP system for conical bending. Controlled through ProLink, the gauge positions adjust automatically to enable quick, precise production of profiles such as cappings and non-parallel parts, with clean overlaps and no trimming required.

Gauge Finger Options

A range of gauge finger configurations is available to suit varying sheet sizes and folding applications. These options enhance precision and support accurate material positioning, with choices including solid front fingers and segmented designs for improved accessibility and handling control.

Folding Tool Options

Folding beam tools are available in several sizes, including standard 7/10mm and alternatives such as 15mm, 20mm, 25mm and combo 10/15mm options. These tools support a wide range of material thicknesses and bending applications, offering quick-change capability to reduce setup time. Tool lengths include 2600mm, 3200mm and 4100mm, with only the 7/10mm supplied as standard.

Moveable foot pedal on rail

Mounted on a rail, the foot pedal allows quick and smooth repositioning along the folding area, making it ideal for workflows with multiple folding stations. When fixed to the floor, it improves safety by keeping the operator at a safe distance from the folding beam. This option is especially recommended when the machine is equipped with Multifold.
